Doc probably wants to prevent sunburn, which is managed by SPF 30 or whatever, and covering up with a bandanna or the sun tail on a hat. Doc probably also wants to prevent skin cancer. What my doc recommends to prevent skin cancer (got a family risk factor) is sunscreen labelled "Broad Spectrum." That gives both UVA and UVB protection, preventing sunburn and giving skin cancer protection.
Trouble is, we need vit D, lots of it. That is a known cancer reduction agent. So here we have a dilemma.. . .eh bien (sigh)
