Weight is almost meaningless on the flat, it mostly only matters when accelerating or going up hills
This... to a point. If your setup is 400lbs, you're past that point (because of tire deformation and likely having a huge aero cross section, and because acceleration probably does start to matter much more if it takes you 3 minutes to get up to speed), but that's not because of the bike.
