posted another thing yesterday, but lost it--I've planned for ages to replace the bar tape on my Tricross, and to switch the front brake lever to the right hood (old motorcycle habits just don't go away) and depending on when I actually get the Gevenalle units in my hands, I could just quickly try the short pull interrupters from my Tricross in a quick test installation of the Cowbells/Gevenalle/short pull interrupters/BB7 mtn--to just see how it works, and if the levers really do come much too close to the bars.

One aspect I have thought of that may be an issue is that in general, I prefer to setup my brake levers to engage fully closer to the bars than a very short action. I prefer the modulation of my cantis this way, so setting up the BB7s "loose" this way may end up with interrupter levers bottoming out if not the long pull ones--only doing it will show, and it would get me to do the tape and brake side switch I've put off for ages on my Tricross.

if it would work out ok, then I could just buy some interrupters locally (short pull I imagine are the vast majority) and not go the ebay route.
