Hi All,

I have an 8 speed shimano internal gear hub. It's about 3 years old. I replaced a flat recently on my rear tire and now there is more drag and some sort of scraping noise in the lower 3 gears. Once I get up to the 4,5,6,7,8 gears it doesn't seem to be a problem and there isn't any dragging and there isn't any noise.

I'm also seeing that the gears are getting stuck more often when I shift.

Is this a case where I need to add more oil to the hub? I've never done that -- in fact I've never done any maintenance to this hub. So -- any advice or help on this?
