Since I get "replacement" shoes without discarding the ones they're replacing, four, or six if you count the two pair of sneakers I wear to ride the FG bike. One pair of foul weather boots, and three others, the last because I wanted some bright, shiny ones, for racing especially. I still wear the oldest ones from time to time.
