It's been awhile since I completed a build. Too depressed since my knee replacement was a failure. Gotta move on.
The first is a D. Douglas DC7000. It's for a good friend who's never had a foot in a toeclip in his life so I built him something to get started with. Columbus Matrix main tubes, cro-mo fork, SIS 6 speed drivetrain, Universal Squadra brakes, Campy headset, Cinelli ITM cockpit and some SR/Sugino stuff. All in all, a nice C&V rider.



Second build is a city bike for my 19 year old son who just moved to the city. He told be what he wanted so he got it. Norco Avanti SL frame, crap crank, 6 speed friction thumbies, Suntour 7 gears, narrow bars, blackburn rack. Nice nimble city bike. Added Matthauser pads, a helmet. lights and a bell because after all, he's my son.
