I tried the bluetooth jaybird earbuds for a couple of weeks, same issue, constant dropping of the signal. I couldn't figure it out. My phone was in the back jersey pocket maybe a foot or so from the earbuds and still no dice.

I ended up sending them back and just going back to normal corded earbuds.
