It was the 2nd sweet deal on a bike off CL for me. The first was 4 years ago when I got one of these
2006 Pilot 2.1 - Bike Archive - Trek Bicycle for my first road bike for $500.
So I got a full alum frame w/carbon front AND rear forks and a combo 105/Ultegra group. Granted...not NEARLY as sweet as a Dura Ace group but not too shabby.
I actually bought it from a guy down in Texas (2000 miles away) and I simply told him to take it to his LBS (who I called ahead of time) drop it off and have them ship it to me for $50 which I paid to the LBS. I actually had his daughter talk him into it so I can only take 1/2 the credit.
I suppose I've just been blessed (if you believe it that sort of thing)
