I don't want a "Bike Friday" sticker on the tube in anything other than black or white because that might clash down the road, so to speak. I am becoming more fond of the orange but would have to make up my mind to get a new helmet (no, I know they don't have to match, but it is much cuter that way). Of course, then I could get one of those darling Yakkay helmets to replace my Bern. Although I think the pink BF above is okay, and the turquoise bit really makes it, it's not for me. Too restricting if you want to change things up later, but since the Bargainguy has 5 BF, I guess that's not an issue, lol.
I is easy to fall in love with bike colours, especially on new bikes or newly painted bikes. if you let your bike be a "blank canavas" you can "paint" on it different every day- with your luggage and your chlotes. The pink bike in the picture is beautiful on its own, but if you feel like wearing your red dress or your yellow trousers (god forbid

) you may end up looking like a rolling tivoli.
All black is not dull, it is stylish. Buy a brass bell and leave it at that.
I buy bikes not looking at the colour but if I could choose I would look at all the beautiful colours- and buy black.
Red bikes tend to follow me around. My latest buy was a used NWT- in red. I often wear black (like those Greek grandmothers) so no problem
