I've used Pledge on the inside of my router housing to keep the sawdust from sticking to everything.
It's good for some surfaces and plastic laminated (not really wood) furniture.
But as far as paint goes, I'd stick to the tried and true.
No secret that most classical car owners only use carnauba.
Petroleum distillates are not the boogeyman here.
The company that would slap on a decal without protecting it with a couple of layers of clear coat is.
Lucas might be trying to incorporate carnauba into that product since I read on one of it's spec sheets "Smells like bubble gum".
May be the new frontier for all I know. Frontiers come with risk though.
