Do you have a picture of one? I am fairly new to this sport, riding less than a year so some of the terminology and available tools are still a learning curve for me.

By gripping all four sides of a properly made nipple, it takes a lot more torque to slip than one that only engages 2-3 sides. Some nipples, OTOH, aren't quite square, so they still slip. Hence why I replace all nipples with DT Swiss at the first good excuse to de-tension a wheel.
