IMO ultegra 11 mechanical is the current gold standard. Di2 is fuggin awesome obvi, but ultegra 11 gets the job done flawlessly, just with less whiz-bang flash.

Campy is the gold standard dammit!!!11 (at least of going by cost, it must be made of gold, but I still love it)
Btw is elec shifting slower than mechanical? It seemed like it from watching guys at Cascade, but I've never used it.
