This is my plan as well.
And I am now down to one remaining 10-speed only wheelset for my road bikes. The two cross bikes still have 10s wheels, and neither are upgradable. (Technically, I have two 10-speed wheelsets, but I finally bought the stupid Chris King upgrade kit. Found a guy selling a lightly used one for $200, which sadly was a great deal.)
