...and since Bianchi USA has often operated quite separately from Bianchi in Europe, there's a good chance they wouldn't be able to help anyway! There were plenty of models that only existed on one side of the Atlantic or the other. On the bright side, that means I'm not nearly as familiar with models you might see in the Netherlands, so maybe that's why it looks 'off' to me.

Bianchi's site for Holland, like the American site, doesn't list much contact info. The only number I found on it is for the store, but maybe the people there can help you or at least point you in the right direction. The number on the web site is +39 0363 3161.

There's not a Bianchi serial number database that I'm aware of and Bianchi serial numbers have varied wildly over the years. There is, however, a thread on these forums where a bunch of people have traded info on their Bianchi serial numbers and maybe you can find similar serial numbers in there:
