I'm just starting off with a set of tubulars.
I had to replace one of them recently and found an exceptional amount of rimcement residue and even some old leftover rubber in the rim from the old tubular.
I went at the leftover rimcement with some Xylene- which is a solvent similar to Paint thinner with minimal sucess.
Does anyone have any advice as to what the best solvent is for removing old rimcement?
