This appears to be about the best and most informational thread on Gios Compact...

...so here is a bump with some photos of one I just put back on the road. It is a beautiful lilac in color.

It is a very "quick" bike, as you might imagine. Short wheelbase, tight geometry. I managed to squeeze some undersized 700 x 25 tyres on there. There was some rust issue with the top tube at the brake cable entry points, which if you want my opinion is a stupid way to accomplish internal cable routing.

Otherwise, for something made in italy at that time, the paint seems to be OK, as is the chrome (mostly).
