The area in which I grew up (suburban Cincinnati) has become so urbanized that when I drove by our old house some years ago, I had to read the numbers to figure out which it was. On the other hand back in the 50's it was relatively rural although it grew rapidly in the 60's. I didn't have a bike but we did a lot of running around. We also had a good hill for sledding.
