I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I'm having a little bit of an issue fitting SKS P55 on the front. I have a Tubus Tara and a 26" 52cm Disc Trucker. Rack fits fine and mounted to the rear eyelet on the fork, but I'm trying to figure out the best placement for the fender struts on SKS P55. If I mount them off the rear Tara eyelet (which is meant for the fenders), I have to add a few spacers to clear the brake, and when I do that, it puts the fender hardware into the back of the pannier. I'm pretty sure on a tour that it would wear through the back of my Ortlieb fabric in short order. One other mount option is up in the Tara holes that attach to the mid fork eyelet, with lots of bending of the struts.
Can others share how they mount their struts on the brake side of the fork? These P55s are a pain to mount as it is!
