What's wrong with B17? I have been riding a B17 Imperial (has a slit cut out of the center for comfort) for 3 years. I unfortunately had to forgo the padded bike shorts a year ago after a vasectomy left me with severe PVPS (post-vasectomy pain syndrome). I am finally able to ride long distances again, but now wear Icebreaker briefs for support and a pair of Adidas athletic shorts. I actually find the Icebreaker wool briefs + B17 Imperial a very comfortable match and would recommend it. But alas, your ass and groin is not my ass and groin, so the only thing I can recommend confidently is to experiment and see for yourself.
