And I said T47 was only useful in a few situations, because it's really not all that it's cracked up to be, and you went into denial mode for some inexplicable reason. You use square taper, but suddenly 24mm axles are "cute" because you say so? Then you say market trends are heading towards BB30, again because you say so? It seems like most people who support T47 really just resent that fact that new stuff isn't threaded and think press fits are a step backwards, but don't actually think about the reasons why things aren't threaded or the implications of an oversized threaded BB shell. If octalink is worthless kool-aid, then T47 is as well, the only thing is that it has retrogrouchy threading that promises to marry the new to the old, providing almost no meaningful benefit over the actually old BSA standard.
