Inevitably someone will get angry and say they don't work and the only way to measure is with a ruler and measuring pin wear because chain checkers measure roller wear and everyone has to bend over, slip a disc and measure their chain, and then some poor guy will measure his chain and it will read fine even though it's worn because of chain sag because he didn't keep the chain pulled tight.
