I'm sure there are warehouses full of that tubing, Waterford, Strong, Gunnar, and a slew of others still make bikes out of that stuff if you want one. And True Temper announced the plan a year in advance and builders are loading up with the stuff, so as of now production is in overtime and won't end until June of 2017 after saying they would stop in March 2017 but demand was too great, but June would be the final date. There is talk that someone might be interested in buying the True Temper equipment to start a new production facility copying the tubes, that discussion as of right now is currently in the works, where it will go we won't know for awhile.
I would suspect, and hope, that if they can't get a buyer for the equipment that another tube company would step up to the batter's box and take a home run shot at making such a tubing, if not I'm not sure what a lot of these American builders will do since they really only want American tubing. I think they can get stainless steel tubing down really light too so that may be an alternative direction for these companies.
I've never owned nor ridden a True Temper bike that I know of, I know I haven't been on the high end tubeset, be interesting to know if there is any real difference in quality of ride.
