No, they aren't as cheap as Kinlin hoops, but the difference is very noticeable.
Not sure that's what you meant, but just wanted to clarify that wide and Kinlin are not mutually exclusive. The Kinlin XR-31T (and RT) is 19mm internal/24mm external. This is the rim used in the BDop kit I mentioned and was mentioned a couple times by other posters. BHS sells this same rim as the "BHS C31w."
