So, less than a year old shimano 105. It just got super sticky retracting or springing back into small ring position. I can move it by hand with cable connected and disconnected. But it won't spring back on its own. Cable just goes slack.

I'm 48 and I've never had a front derailer get sticky like this. I keep things clean and lubed. Can't see anything broken.

Not a huge deal, a new one isn't too much $$. But I can't stop thinking about what is wrong. Anyone else ever get this type of situation?
