My last tour, I could not find the campground at the end of a very long and very rainy day when I was soaked. But found a HI Hostel, and it gets better, they had space for me. It was worth the cost difference to stay out of the rain that evening.
A distant relative organized a group supported tour for several in the family. The tour group provided the bikes, most meals, all lodging, hauled luggage from inn to inn, etc. On one of the days it rained all day and when they got to the inn where they were supposed to stay that night, but the inn had gone out of business and was closed.
