Agreed. I do have a folding bike, but on most rides where I need to use a car to get to the start I just take the wheels off my regular bike and drop it in the trunk (usually take both wheels off so there's no need to bother folding the rear car seat). Takes about as long as it does for me to fold a Brompton.
