if you had this choice again, after reflecting on it, would you make the same choice? what would the result have been if you didn't clear the gate?

I sometimes remember the cautionary material I got with my chain saw. the stuff about complacency after working for a while. meaning: you start off real cautious but then after a while you lose that caution and get complacent and more likely to make an error in judgement
