The white Speed P 8 for 459 is last years model same as the red model ( delivered to the US late fall 2015 ) .... the first model which had cables in the frame but no more big apples ..I have no idea why the red one is 100 dlr more ????

If I get a deal/closeout pricing from Dahon, I usually pass that one rather quickly. Other dealers might have too much old stock which they bought at a higher price and they need to sell older bikes first or they just pass on a small amount of savings.


Originally the P stands for premium and the D for deluxe... Almost every part of the P was just a little better than the D ... but lately Dahon has made small upgrades for most d models ... and to make it really interesting the latest model speed is called D8 although it has the P components ...
