Before I broke my right ankle about 15 yrs ago I taught the golf swing while working part time @ a driving range. Mostly to get free golf at some of the NICE courses around my area (Prince William, Fauquier and Loudoun counties) where I live in Northern Virginia.
I am going to take my time and do it RIGHT. As I said before Ill just use my phone but I prefer to do the editing on my PC.
I am a engee/tech/mechanic by trade but I DON"T like doing much on my phone other than text and answer calls. Oh...and take pic and vids.
Your phone is definitely fine for the filming, and almost any directional mic will be much better than what you have. For video editing on a PC, I'd just do a google search for good free/cheap video editing software, as well as maybe a tutorial for making good Youtube instructional videos. I work on Macs, and have Final Cut Pro, which is massive overkill for what you're doing, so I don't have specific recommendations. I work with film quality rendering, which means working with massive files, which is the last thing you want to do.
I just did a quick search, and it looks like Youtube has a suite of video and audio editing tools. Who knew? Check that out, and check out the bloatware programs that came with your PC -- you may already have what you need. The editing you need to do is pretty simple. You should also check into adding graphics/titles/subtitles to your videos, which can really be useful.
There are literally dozens of different programs that will do what you need. You're like the newbie posting on BF asking what's the best bike to get into road biking.

Just find what's easy and good enough.
