The outer 53t and inner 30t have never been used and for my style and location of riding, they'll never be used.
Question, has anyone gotten away with leaving just one original chainring or is a narrow-wide necessary?
I did something similar with one bike. It worked mostly OK but I ended up putting a single speed ring in its place after a drop or 2. It works well now.
