That's a normal summer day here in Texas, without even taking into account the heat index. It's all just a matter of acclimation.

The shoulder's still sore; I suspect I'm not resting it enough (duh). There's a sickly yellow strip coming down from my collar bone on the front of my shoulder; that's gonna be a beauty of a bruise when it comes into full bloom.

I wrenched on the bike tonight. I think the vintage Cyclone II derailleur is salvageable; I've got it all adjusted on the stand but I'll save the test ride for another day. I still need to work on the handlebar damage but I need some replacement parts for that. I kind of wanted to make sure the drivetrain and frame were okay before I invested the money.
