I liked the Jandd Extreme's top platform for carrying camping stuff but it was very heavy & aluminum stay got abraded. Tubus low-riders seem like the obvious choice, sturdier steel Tara is cheaper than Jandd Extreme @ 1/3rd the weight. Camping stuff can be lashed atop rear rack. Not much we can do about niche-market prices but Tubus is supposed to last ~a lifetime, eh?
