Several Dawes Galaxy bicycles have come my way over the years. This Dawes Galaxy is fitted as sold, all original components still present...



Of course, I thought or think that this one is pretty original also...



And this one looks to be original also...



The point is there seems to be some variety in original parts fitted to the bikes, base, probably on parts availability and the year the bike was made. That said, some of the stuff on the OP's bike is not original, in my opinion.
