I put some Gatorskins on my commuter. (used to run Contact 2's) I guess looking for lighter weight and maybe some speed but this morning I was turning around on the greenway and tires slide out from underneath me. Slight scrape on the knee nothing bad really and the panniers and bike seem fine.


I have to remember the shady parts of the greenway with this humidity are in a perpetual state of sogginess and slick as glass. Probably have some sort of mold/ algae growing on them.


she commented on the smoothness of the tires yesterday I hope this was the only instance.
