After having my S.A. NSX for a year and a half, I have not run the threads out yet. And i have not needed to adjust it for 3 months or so.
If you'd like a photo of where the threads are now, I can post a picture. Let me know if you'd find it useful.

other info you might find useful:
- I tip the scale at 200 lbs (that's American for "quit eating so much! ride more!")
- I don't ride this bike all the time. It's probably my second most ridden bike. The #1 bike has a Brooks and fenders. Fenders tend to be the deciding factor when I grab a bike.
- It's a very comfy seat. Really do like it and it looks good.
