I can't help but be skeptical about those weights.

My 21" 531 framed Trek 720 is in that neighborhood. My CrMo High Sierra weighs more than that. Additionally, reading about Pastor Bob getting his Super Sport into that weight range was a challenge.

Although it was pretty much stock- the last Continental that passed through my garage was in a whole 'nuther weight class in comparison to any of the bikes I had at the time.
