ooh a bike tour, enjoy it!

one of my goals this year was to do a bike tour. so i'm signed up to do a "micro-tour" which means unsupported, and one night. 50-60 miles to campsite, camp overnight, next day 50-60 miles back. i'll get to try this in October.

this morning it was overcast and in the 70s. i've never been so glad. two days in a row. i feel like the luckiest person ever. last week i was never more grateful for air conditioning at the office. it was heavenly.

i've been drinking more water but i did still feel lightheaded on occasion up til Tue. so i can relate to what y'all mentioned noglider 's statement "The only way to stay healthy at this point is to aim to get less accomplished until the heat passes" that makes a lot of sense when the heat is insane.

and it's been insane... so glad for the relief these past couple days.
