i cannot speak for anyone but myself, but i eat a ****ing ton of food -- protein, carbs, etc -- and absolutely cannot gain weight. i even rock protein shakes on occasion. my ridonkulously high metabolism is to blame for this, according to my doctor (that and the tapeworm). i wouldn't gain weight if my entire diet consisted in burger king "MEATNORMOUS" omelet breakfast sandwiches. granted, i would die of a heart attack first, but the point is that there are actually people who aren't skinny on purpose. i am not sure of how this came to be, but it seems that many "hipster" types fall into this category.
