True enough. I've worn my only "real suit" (as in dull enough to be appropriate for an interview or other solemn occasions) 3-4 times: a phone interview (to psyche myself up), to a friend's wedding, to another wedding, and to my baptism. a good 3+ years elapsed between the second and third wearing.


The latest i bought will all be items that can be worn separately. When the temperature allows, i wear a sport coat at all times. i don't actually need to show up to campus to work these days, but putting on jacket kind of reminds me that conduct myself accordingly. Also, it's a reminder to myself that i most certainly won't be wearing a sport coat if i were still at a laboratory and to be thankful for my current employment.
