I got hit by a car.
I was riding pretty much everywhere from the age of ~8. The only reason I didn't go further afield was that I never saw the need until I was a teenager. I got hit once when I was about 9 and another time when I was 15. Luckily no serious injuries either time.
The game of life is hard to play. You're gonna lose it anyway. The losing card you'll someday lay.
