I've repacked the bearings in HT2 BBs a few times, for both mine and my wife's bikes. It's simple enough-- more so for me, as I come from an R/C background, so I'm used to servicing bearings 1/10th the size. I have more recently moved toward the "it's just cheaper to replace the whole BB" end of the spectrum, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued by stainless/ceramic HT2 bearings from China for less than $15 a pair.
