BTW, the Giro shoes in your images (Republic?) are very versatile for mild walking, as well as being a comfortable shoe for urban cycling. I use them with Ritchey SPD-like cleats.
Regular Eggbeaters have no wrong side; you can clip in without having to flip or orient the pedal at all.
I wear Shimano
spinning shoes with mine, the most comfy cycling shoes I have ever experienced...
