Yeah...it's all relative. I often ride in a T and shorts when temps are in the lower 50's and see people all bundled up like it was winter. I'm usually pushing a 1200 calorie per hour pace during my morning commute. So, staying warm is rarely an issue.
That would do it. I only burn around 800/hr on a typical commute.
Today wasn't that though, I took it easy on the way in, got passed twice and didn't even chase. Beautiful day if you don't mind 80% humidity and there were 5 or 6 cyclists out, which is a lot for weekday mornings here.
