My present bikes have Bontrager H2 35mm on one and Bontrager H5 32mm tires and a hybrid with 26 Serfas FPS "City" tires at 26x 2.25" I ride a lot, putting studded tires on the Hybrid Trek Antelope in winter. I am happy with the sure footedness of all.

If I were to get a "Road" bike with say 25mm tires at normal inflation,how much more slippery and crash- prone would it be on wet asphalt?
