On a local Boston thread, a tandem c
yclist posts prolifically, with photos of his smiling wife/stoker, but I never read a quote by her, as if a “silent partner.” I did get to meet them in person, and they are a lovely couple.
BTW I just read on the current John Kerry thread on Fifty-Plus, that SAG = Support and Gear. I always thought that it meant, well…sag, as in sagging rider. 
One of the activities my wife enjoys is posting a summary of each day with pics on Facebook. I monitor those, and even share them which keeps me from having to do the same. So far she seems to be really enjoying the experience. She's also able to touch base with our kids and her parents via phone daily which helps. I think we're both excited about getting back home and spending more time with our new grandson!! My daughter sends us fresh videos and pictures daily so we can see all his changes and growth. I'm very, very lucky to have a wife that is willing to do this and still keep her sanity.....
