I have about given up on a trunk rack to transport my bike(s)...many get horrible reviews and the main one that gets great reviews doesn't fit my 2013 Kia Optima.

So I'm wondering if the roof racquet may be the best way to go!?!

The questions I have are, my car doesn't have the two 'roof bars' that the bicycle roof rack attaches to, so:
1) Where do I purchase the bars?
2) How much do they cost?
3) Will they damage my car?
4) Do they work with any bicycle roof racquet?
5) What bars and roof rack system would you recommend?
