Happy Labor Day everyone!
I started this day off thinking hot dogs.
It was still damp as a dish rag outside so I decided to have a little fun.
What better way than to think up something fun to do.
So I decided to make a wiener chimney for my charcoal grill.
I already had a Pork&Bean can that I had fired up to make charcoal sticks a long while back.
(No, scuppernong vines don't make good charcoal sticks, but it was interesting)
So I punched 3 holes in it, removed the bottom lid with a can opener, bent the lid in 3 places for air and dropped it down in the can where the 3 tabs from the punched holes were. 5 charcoal bricks to a layer, I put a total of 12 in and any old unburned bricks laying in my grill. Fired it up and 15 minutes later it was red hot, 5 minutes afterward all the smoke was gone from the old bricks.
After I ate I went out on a ride. This tire is silky smooth over bumps and holds a line pretty good.
The best part is the rolling resistance, it starts rolling faster on declines I couldn't even perceive or feel before. That's all at 55 psi, 65 psi is maximum. Good for flatland, good for me.
