Well, working it's way back towards presentable with the stickers out of the way. Many beers, curse words, Goo Gone, a few old credit cards, and longest time using a hair drier later; all of the non stock stickers are out of the way. Along with a few other bits. (Sorry for the ugly shed garage door but this thing isn't ready for anything better )

Next question: How do I go about removing this?

Previous owner added his initials and 'Custom' in paint on both sides of the top tube. I believe I can work both off while preserving the original paint, just wanted to get an idea on how to do it. Too hard/strong to work it off with fingernails/etc. and will need some coaxing.

Nevertheless, this bike was obviously someone's pride at some point. A lot of interesting things added and it's very good rider. Yes, those doohickies are oil ports for the cables and they appear functional... Frame and paint has cleaned up nicely and that's the only part I've touched at this point. Wanted to see if I could bring this frame back towards originality before I tackled everything else. Unfortunately, I don't think I can ever get used to seeing that wheelset on this bike.
