Cool find. Truly a bit odd with everything going on. Glad you've made headway. Always fun to see something go from messy to clean.

I agree with redoing the front wheel's lacing to match. Radial, IMO, is fine on newer bikes or old bikes that are completely hotrodded with full modern groupsets, and even then one has to be careful. The Sugino crankset looks fantastic and is in great shape. It even has normal-ish gearing (52 with a 44? it looks like)!
