today was first day of school for chicago public schools.

it's always a really, really stupid day, traffic-wise.

all of the schools along my commute route become clusterf%^&s of cars and school buses not knowing what to do and clogging up the streets in all directions.

it usually takes a week or two for people to figure it out all over again.
